When you go ice fishing on a lake, you have two options.
You can either walk to where you want to fish or, if the ice is thick enough, you can drive to where you want to set up. I’ve never felt comfortable driving on a big lake, no matter how thick the ice is.
But one great option is a boat with a makeshift motor. This is not your ordinary boat-and-motor set up. This one is made to get you across the ice to your destination.
The only downfall that I can see is that there might not be much fishing getting done. This boat might just be too fun to ride in to think about fishing.
That’s one way to get around on the ice…
