I’m not much of a freshwater angler, but fishing rubber frogs for bass is something that really intrigues me. Think about it: Most of the lures that we use are supposed to look like another fish, or maybe a bug of some sort. Using a rubber lure of a frog just seems very odd to me. Regardless, watching the results has me wanting to give it a try. Seeing these bass explode on this bait topwater is thrilling.
This video from Wired2Fish does a great job of breaking down fishing the frog… how to choose colors, and where and how to fish. Check it out and you’ll want to fish the frog too.
