Ice fishing intrigues the heck out of me. On the one hand, it looks miserable. On the other hand, it amazes me that fish can actually live under the ice.
Also, I imagine the anticipation being so great. Think about it: Don’t you love that moment of wondering what it is and then you finally see your fish emerge from the depths? It seems to me that moment would only be enhanced that much more when you’re waiting to see the fish emerge from the black of a little hole you drilled in the ice, right? After sitting on the ice for however long, seeing any fish emerge out of the hole must be cool. A big fish would amp the volume to 11.
